About Me

Hello, I’m Rachel – a Childminder based in Holmer Green.

I love creating a safe, happy space where children feel secure, supported, and free to be themselves. My approach is all about working closely with families, understanding what each child needs, and making sure they have the best start possible. Everything I do follows the EYFS framework, with a big focus on safeguarding and high-quality care.
I live in Holmer Green with my partner and our two little ones (aged 2 and 5). Since moving here over a year ago, we’ve really fallen in love with the village—it’s calm, welcoming, and perfect for families. We spend lots of time exploring the local area, going on nature walks, and joining in with community events. Holmer Green truly feels like home, and I’m excited to offer a warm, engaging childcare space right here.
My passion is helping children learn through play. I’ve created a fun, inviting setting where little ones can explore, grow, and thrive. If you’re looking for a childminder who combines experience with a genuine love for children—I’d love to hear from you!

About my setting:
We’re on a quiet road in Holmer Green, just a short walk from a sensory garden and Holmer Green Common—perfect for outdoor play and nature walks. Penn and Wendover Woods are only a short drive away for bigger adventures.
At home, I offer a cosy, home-from-home environment where children can choose their own activities and express themselves freely. Our garden has a slide, trampoline, sand pit, and mud kitchen, plus lots of indoor and outdoor toys.
Each week, we head out for fun, enriching activities like music and toddler groups, library visits, fruit picking, and woodland walks—great for sparking curiosity and building confidence.
