My Requirements

We are a welcoming family looking for a dedicated, sole-charge nanny to care for our two daughters (ages 3 and 1) starting in around March/April 2026. This is a live-out role based in a home with no pets and a weekly cleaner.

The Schedule:
Core Hours: We’re aiming for around 53 hours per week, approximately Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Flexibility: We are open to discussing some shifted hours to accommodate the 53 hour week. The parents work from home some days, so we can discuss some days being slightly shorter and other days lengthened. We can discuss and agree on a specific schedule when we meet.

Overtime: Occasional evening/weekend babysitting available by mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

Nanny Duties: Full daily care, including local outings to parks and playgroups (all within a 15-minute walk), school nursery runs. Keeping play areas and bedrooms organized

Daily Routine: Preparing nutritious meals, managing the dinner and bath routine, and overseeing "school readiness" (homework, uniforms, and kit prep), managing family laundry (washing/drying/sorting); and light kitchen maintenance (dishwasher/surfaces).

School Transition: Starting September, managing the 3-year-old’s nursery schedule (9 am – 3 pm), including drop-off and collection.

Salary range: £41k - £45k per annum. Equivalent to £15 - £16 p/h gross per hour.
