A Home Full Of Care, Creativity And Confidence
About Me
Hello, my name is Jessica and I am a dedicated and passionate Tiney childminder currently studying at Level 5 in Early Years. I am committed to providing high-quality childcare within a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and confident.
I have a strong understanding of child development and the importance of play-based learning. I support children to become independent, curious learners by providing engaging experiences that promote their social, emotional and cognitive development.
I believe positive relationships are at the heart of good childcare. I build strong partnerships with families, recognising parents as children’s first educators and working collaboratively to support each child’s individual needs.
My setting encourages shared experiences such as group mealtimes, outdoor exploration and regular outings to places such as The Pink Pig Farm and Normanby Hall Country Park, helping children learn about the world around them through real-life experiences.
As a reflective practitioner, I continuously develop my knowledge and practice to ensure the best outcomes for the children in my care.

Meals, Snacks & Activity Contributions
I offer healthy meals and snacks within my setting to support children in sharing mealtimes together, encouraging social interaction, independence and positive eating habits.
Food contributions are voluntary, and parents are welcome to provide their own meals if preferred. However, shared mealtimes are encouraged as they promote inclusion and a sense of belonging within the group.
Suggested voluntary contributions are:
Breakfast – £1.50
Lunch – £1.50
Tea – £1.50
Snacks – 50p
Daily activity contribution – £1.50
Providing meals within the setting also allows me to carefully manage allergies and intolerances, ensuring children’s individual dietary needs are safely and appropriately met.
The daily activity contribution supports the cost of enriching experiences and outings we regularly take part in, such as visits to The Pink Pig Farm, Normanby Hall Country Park, and local museums and community events. These outings enhance children’s learning through real-life experiences, social development and exploration of the wider world.
