About Me
From the Classroom to Rosey Days: Meet Hayleigh
Choosing the right care for your child is a big decision, so I wanted to introduce myself!
Hi everyone! I’m Hayleigh, and I’m so excited to welcome you into my world. ?
* I wear many hats—I’m a wife, a mum to two wonderful girls (aged 5 and almost 3!), and an ex-teacher. My professional journey has led me to my current role in Family Help within Children’s Services, so supporting families is truly at the heart of everything I do.
* When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me:
* On Stage: I’m a dancer forming part of a dance group and I'm part of an amateur theatre group where I perform and choreograph!
* Spreading Joy: I spend my weekends with an amazing young person with additional needs who has become a true part of our family antics.
* Exploring: As a family, we live for music, sports, wild walks, swimming, outdoor activities and great storytelling.
* At Rosey Days, I bring all of this passion for movement, creativity, and laughter into everything we do. I can’t wait to get to know your families, too!
My Experience
My greatest joy is being a mum to my two young daughters, aged 3 and 5, who inspire me every day and have deepened my understanding of how children learn, grow, and thrive. Watching children develop confidence, curiosity, and independence is something I am truly passionate about.
I am a qualified teacher with a wide range of experience working with children and families, including roles in children’s services, supporting children with additional needs (SEN), and teaching dance. I have also worked as a youth worker, activity coordinator, and Rainbows leader, which has given me a strong understanding of supporting children in different settings.
I bring this experience into my work every day, creating a caring, supportive, and fun environment where your child can feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified teacher with a degree in Dance and a qualification as a Sports Leader. I also hold up-to-date Paediatric First Aid training, along with training in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and shame-aware approaches.
These qualifications and training help me provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child is supported with care, understanding, and professionalism.
