About Me
We have a 27-month-old son who speaks Hungarian (we are both originally from Hungary). We live on Cherry Hinton Road (Cambridge), near Coleridge Road. We are expecting a baby girl in May 2026.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder in Cambridge for our 27-month-old son from February 2026. Initially, we would need care for 2–3 weekdays per week, mornings only, including lunch, as we are expecting our second child in May 2026.
Our son is a shy and sensitive child, but he is also kind and open towards others. He has been attending toddler groups twice a week since he turned one.
As he is very closely attached to his mother, we would like to allow at least two weeks for settling in.
It is very important to us that the childminder supports him in becoming familiar with the English language, as he currently speaks only Hungarian. He has heard English at playgroups, but does not yet understand it. We would like to ensure that this will not be a barrier for him and that he feels included in the childminder’s group.
He has no known allergies, does not require any special care, and is not yet potty trained.
