About Me
I'm Simone, a proud mum to my awesome 3 y/o daughter and the owner of Into the Wild Learning, a newly Ofsted registered childminder based in the beautiful village of Chiddingstone, Kent.
I am open from 07:30-17:30 with flexibility! My goal is to provide a calm, nurturing home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to develop at their own pace.
We live in a beautifully rural area where our days are centred around learning through play, with a strong focus on the outdoors. Whether we're growing vegetables, caring for flowers, exploring nature, creating imaginative play opportunities or enjoying stories together, I believe children learn best when they're curious, engaged and having fun.
Alongside outdoor adventures, I carefully plan activities that support all areas of the EYFS, helping every child reach their individual milestones through play and meaningful experiences.
Building strong relationships with families is incredibly important to me. I believe that by working together, we can give children the very best start in life, providing them with the confidence, kindness and skills they need to flourish. :)
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and emotional wellbeing during the early years.
As a mum to my 3 y/o daughter, I have first-hand experience of nurturing a young child through the important early stages of development. Alongside this, I am studying for a degree in Psychology and Counselling which has deepened my understanding of child development, behaviour, attachment and emotional wellbeing.
Before becoming a childminder, I worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a number of families, caring for children of different ages and supporting their daily routines, school runs, meal preparation, play, homework and emotional needs. These experiences have helped shape the calm, caring and child-centred approach I bring to my setting today.
I regularly undertake professional training to ensure my knowledge remains up to date, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid and EYFS requirements. I am committed to continuous professional development so I can provide the highest standard of care and education for every child.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected and valued, and I take great pride in creating an environment where children can learn through play, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

I needed some cover on the weekend for my daughter and Simone responded really quickly. She was so helpful and explained a bit about herself. My daughter had a really good time and felt at ease straight away. throughout the whole time Simone was quick to respond and I felt really confident my daughter would have a great time and be in safe hands.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! Seleste was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Thank you for trusting me to spend the morning with your daughter, she was such a joy to be around, and was kind, considerate, and lovely throughout. I hope we get the chance to hang out again next time.
We had an excellent experience with Simone. She was reliable, professional, warm and fantastic with Poppy and Woody. They felt comfortable with her straight away, and she kept them happy, engaged and well cared for throughout.
She communicated clearly, was flexible when needed and gave us complete peace of mind. We would happily use her again.
