My Experience & Qualifications

I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 14 years of experience working with families and caring for children, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and emotional wellbeing during their early years.

As a proud mum to my wonderful 3-year-old daughter, I understand first-hand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your little one. I know that every child is unique, and I believe in providing a warm, nurturing and secure environment where children feel safe, understood and encouraged to thrive.

Alongside my practical experience, I am currently studying towards a degree in Psychology and Counselling, which is further developing my understanding of child development, behaviour, attachment and emotional wellbeing. This knowledge complements my hands-on experience and helps shape my thoughtful, patient and child-centred approach to childcare.

Before establishing Into the Wild Learning, I spent 14 years working as a nanny and housekeeper for families, caring for children of different ages and supporting their everyday lives. My responsibilities included organising daily routines, school runs, preparing nutritious meals, supporting homework, planning engaging activities and providing emotional reassurance and encouragement.

These years of working closely with children and their families have given me valuable experience in understanding individual personalities, recognising children's changing needs and building positive, trusting relationships.

Professional development is incredibly important to me. I regularly undertake training to keep my knowledge and practice up to date, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I am committed to continually developing my skills to provide high-quality, safe and nurturing care.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that every child deserves to feel safe, respected, valued and celebrated for who they are.

Through a balance of child-led play, outdoor exploration, meaningful learning experiences and gentle encouragement, I aim to help children develop confidence, independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

My goal is simple: to provide the kind of loving, attentive and enriching care that I would want for my own daughter.

• Childminding from £9.00 per hour

Childminder fees start from £9.00
Nanny fees start from £17.50
