My Experience

I am a 60-year-old, qualified SEN tutor and licensed nanny, with many years of experience in childcare and education. I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked, and hold a full UK driving licence, which allows me to support school runs and appointments when needed.
I have strong experience working one-to-one with children of different ages and abilities, including children with special educational needs. I support learning, communication, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing in a calm, patient, and structured way. As a nanny, I help with daily routines such as meals, homework, personal care, bedtime, and play.
I am reliable, caring, and highly experienced, and I always aim to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel supported, confident, and valued.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified SEN tutor with a Level 3 SEN qualification and strong experience supporting children with special educational needs. I also hold qualifications in Mental Health (Level 2) and Mental Development (Level 2), which help me understand and support children’s emotional and behavioural needs.

I am a qualified Assessor and have Functional Skills qualifications, supporting learning in English and Maths. I am Ofsted registered and a licensed nanny, with experience in childcare, home routines, and learning support.

I have worked as an outreach tutor, teaching children one-to-one across different settings, and I have many years of experience working with children from different backgrounds and abilities.

My Fees

• Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)

My fees are fair and competitive, based on the level of support required and the needs of each child. Rates may vary depending on whether the service is SEN tutoring, nanny support, or a combination of both, as well as session length and location.
I offer one-to-one personalised support, and all sessions are planned carefully to meet each child’s individual needs. Fees can be discussed openly with parents to ensure clarity and agreement before sessions begin.
