Experienced Nanny for 6-Month-Old Developmental & Routine Focused
Location: Holloway Road, Islington (N7)
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Duration: Long-term (Until April 2027)
The Role:
We are looking for a warm, proactive nanny to join our family for our 7-month-old baby. We value a structured yet gentle approach to the day, focusing on sensory development, motor skills.
Schedule:
* April & May: 30 hours per week.
* June 2026 – April 2027: Increasing to 36 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developmental Play: Planning age-appropriate activities (e.g., sensory baskets, gross motor practice like crawling/pull-to-stand, fine motor skills with finger foods).
* Outdoor & Social: Daily stroller walks, visits to local parks (Islington area), libraries, and stay and play groups.
* Routine Management: Following baby’s wake windows, managing naps, and establishing a calm evening wind-down routine (massage, reading).
* Weaning & Nutrition: Preparing healthy solids (purees/finger foods), managing milk feeds, and cleaning up after meals. Keeping the weaning area clean.
* Nursery Duties: Nappy changes, keeping the play area tidy, and maintaining good hygiene.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience: Proven experience with infants (6-12 months age range) and knowledge of developmental milestones.
* Language: Fluent in English (Hindi a plus) to support bilingual development through books and songs.
* Qualities: You are organized and enjoy planning the day (e.g., rotating activities between music, independent play, and cognitive play).
* Requirements: Up-to-date Enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and checkable references.
