About Me
Hello! We’re Richard and Lucy, both 40, Oliver (4) and Lily (2), and Murphy the dog (he’s a medium-sized trailhound). We’re looking for a warm and energetic live-in nanny to join our family and help look after our little ones starting in around April.
We both work full-time and are out all day, except Fridays which Lucy doesn’t work. Richard is in real estate and Lucy is a doctor. Oliver is chatty and inquisitive, loves going to see the animals at the Horniman Museum. Lily is confident and funny, loves jumping around on their play couch. Murphy has a lovely temperament and has taken well to his siblings, but he is a medium sized dog (and like all hounds has a loud bark!), so you would need to be comfortable around dogs.
My Requirements
Live-In Nanny (Full Time, 4 Days / 40 Hours per Week, £31k a year)
Location: Honor Oak / Peckham Rye border, London
The Role
• Days/Hours: Monday to Thursday, approx. 8am–6pm (40 hours total)
• Flexibility: Occasional overtime if we’re stuck at work / additional babysitting by mutual agreement.
• Start Date: April 2026, exact dates to be agreed.
A typical day might include:
• Taking over at 8am (we usually sort breakfast)
• Morning activities like visits to the park, playgroups, or swimming lessons
• Preparing or taking packed lunches
• Dropping Oliver at school (12:25–15:25) up the road, Lily usually naps in the buggy
• Playtime/play dates, early dinner around 5pm, and handover at 6pm
We offer a live-in arrangement, so accommodation and bills are fully included — no rent or utilities to worry about. We don’t provide food/meals for you, but you’re welcome to use anything in our pantry/larger.

Future Responsibilities
Currently, the role focuses entirely on childcare (with tidying up after the children during the day). Oliver will start reception full-time (around 0830 – 1530) in Sept and Lily starts nursery (approx. 3 hours a day) from November. At this point, the role would change slightly to include some cooking and cleaning, duties whilst the children are at school. This could include a dog walk, albeit not essential as we do have a dog walker at the moment. We’re looking for someone long term and ideally aiming to stay with us until Sept 2028 when the kids will both be in school full time.

• Relevant childcare qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
• Non-driver is fine — everything is walkable or accessible via public transport
