Hello,

Hi, this is my first time reaching out to find a tutor, so I hope you don’t mind me sharing a bit of background.

I’m looking for Welsh-language support for my two daughters - one is almost 10 years old and the other is 7½. They both attend Ysgol Bro Eirwg. We’re mainly looking for help with Welsh reading, as well as general tutoring support (and possibly maths too).

I’m unfortunately not a Welsh speaker myself, though I’ve recently started learning at a very beginner level. Seeing how much my daughters are struggling has really motivated me to stick with it this year, but at the moment I’m not at a level where I can support them with homework. The frustration around this has started to affect morale at home, and I’d really love to turn things around so learning feels more positive, supportive, and even fun - while also helping them build confidence and get ahead.

A little more about the girls:
- My youngest (7½) is really struggling with Welsh reading, and also finds English reading difficult. Welsh is the main concern. She struggles academically but is very creative and musical.
- My oldest is fairly confident in maths and English reading, but really struggles to understand Welsh reading.

I wanted to ask whether you’d be open to one-to-one tutoring for both children, ideally back-to-back sessions. I’m open to either in-person or online tutoring. I’d also love to know if you offer a trial session, and what the cost would be for tutoring both children.
