About Me
I am a mum of two children and I am looking for a kind, patient and reliable childminder/babysitter. I have a 3-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son.
My daughter is a happy, affectionate little girl. She currently moves around mainly by bum shuffling, but she can stand and take some steps and is making progress. She attends weekly physiotherapy sessions and is awaiting an assessment for ASD. I feel it would be really beneficial for her to spend time with other children in a safe, supportive environment to help with her social development.
My son is 7 and has ASD, but childcare is mainly needed for my daughter as my son attends school.
My Requirements
I am looking for a childminder or babysitter for my 3-year-old daughter for a couple of hours a day. She is not currently attending nursery.
The ideal person would be patient, understanding and supportive. Experience with additional needs would be helpful but is not essential, as I am happy to explain her routines and physiotherapy exercises. My daughter can stand and take some steps but is not yet walking independently and mainly bum shuffles to get around.
I would love for her to have the opportunity to mix with other children where possible, as I believe this would be great for her confidence and development.
Childcare would be based in a calm, caring environment, and I am happy to discuss everything in more detail.
