My name is Amal and I am 24 years old. I work in a nursery as a flexi bank supporting different rooms and caring for young children. I’m currently preparing to start university, with the goal of studying Speech and Language Therapy, and working with children is something I genuinely enjoy.
I’m warm, caring, and positive, and I’m naturally patient and gentle. I love getting involved in play and keeping children happily engaged with things like story time, arts and crafts, simple games, and age appropriate activities. I’m also reliable, capable, and adaptable, and I’m happy to follow your family’s routine and preferences.
Safety always comes first for me, and I aim to create a calm, fun environment where children feel comfortable and supported. I’m looking to build more experience with families and build good relationships.
My Experience
Level 3 Childcare qualified, I am familiar with EYFS, safeguarding, child development, daily routines and maintaining a safe environment.
My experience includes supporting children individually and in small groups, managing behaviour and transitions, and communicating effectively with children and parents. I am comfortable following routines, creating fun engaging activities and supporting the needs of children.
I have a younger sister and younger cousins who I have looked after.
