About Me
Mini Munchkins Childminding is a warm, welcoming, home-from-home childcare setting based in B36, providing high quality care in a nurturing environment.
I have over 8 years experience working within Early Years, supporting children through their most developmental stages. My setting is calm, caring and child focused, where every child is treated as an individual and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
At Mini Munchkins, I believe children learn best through play, routine and positive relationships. I offer a range of age-appropriate activities that support early learning, communication, emotional wellbeing and independence, while also allowing plenty of time for free play, exploration and fun.
I am passionate about creating a secure environment where children feel safe, value and confident, giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are happy and well cared for. Strong partnerships with parents are very important to me, and I pride myself on open communication and working closely with families to meet each child’s needs.

My Experience
I have 8 years experience working within Early Years, including valuable time working as a childminder’s assistant. In this role, I supported the day-today care of young children in a home-based setting, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
My experience included supporting children with routines, play-based learning activities, mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play, while always following the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures. I worked closely with the registered childminder to support children’s learning and development, observe progress and build positive relationships with both children and parents.
Working as a childminders assistant gave me a strong understanding of how a high-quality home childcare setting operates, including the importance of consistency, communication with families and meeting each child’s individual needs. This experience has helped shape my own approach to childcare, ensuring children feel secure, valued and supported to grow and thrive.
My Qualifications
I am Paediatric First Aid trained, having successfully completed a Blended Paediatric First Aid course (2024), giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
I have completed safeguarding training, including Safeguarding Children for Designated Safeguarding Leads (England), ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing are always my highest priority.
In preparation for registration, I have also completed Pre-Registration Briefing training through Coram PACEY, supporting my understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding responsibilities and best practice within a home-based childcare setting.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly update my training to ensure I remain up to date with current guidance and legislation.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£50 per day.
