About Me
My name is Peps, an Ofsted Agency registered Childminder, a Children’s Safeguarding Advocate, a Community Educator, and a Life Coach for children and their parents. I also support families whose children are involved with the care system, helping them engage confidently with social services, schools, and other professionals.
I am a proud mother of three wonderful adult children— daughters (25, 23), and a son (20). I live with two of them in our warm and welcoming three bedroom semi-detached home in the BS4 area of South Bristol.
Together we Welcome you to “Peps Home” a nurturing, joyful, and inclusive Setting where children learn, explore, and celebrate the beauty of diversity. I create an environment where little ones feel safe, valued, curious, and connected.
Music is a big part of who I am; I love singing and dancing—so our days are filled with rhythm, movement, and musical play. Children in my care enjoy a lively, creative atmosphere that encourages confidence and self expression.
My Experience
With over 25 years of experience caring for children of all ages, I bring deep passion and commitment to child development, advocacy, and safeguarding. I have spent many years volunteering in Women’s Centres and Community Groups, empowering parents to overcome limiting beliefs, shift mindsets, and unlock their potential.
As a motivational speaker with an online community of over 40,000 engaged followers, I use my platforms to raise awareness about child safeguarding, parenting laws, cultural barriers, and the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion. I also provide one to one Coaching sessions for families navigating the Social Care system.
After more than a decade working in the healthcare sector as a Business Manager and EDI Specialist, I made the bold decision to follow my true passion - “Child Advocacy, Childminding, and Child Safeguarding”. I am now fully dedicated to supporting families and helping children thrive in safe, loving, and empowering environments. I believe this work contributes to building a fairer and more inclusive society.
I love connecting with children from all backgrounds, and in partnership with parents to create meaningful, positive experiences. My goal is to work alongside families, share knowledge, and explore opportunities to make a lasting difference in the lives of children.

My Availability
I’m opened term time only, but I am also flexible to support families during holidays.
Mondays 8:00 - 18:00
Tuesdays 8:00 - 18:00
Wednesdays 8:00 - 18:00
Thursdays 8:00 - 18:00
Fridays 8:00 - 18:00
My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
My Fees are:
Childminding from £10/hr
Day rate: £80
Sibling rate - same £80/day
Emergency rate £13/hr
Weekend (Saturdays) rate -£13/hr
Bank Holidays - double rate
These includes Food, daily activities, trips to local parks.
Consumables:
Breakfast, Lunch, 2 snacks, Milk and Water.
To encourage healthy eating, all foods in my Setting are vegetarian, and freshly cooked. We provide 5 portions of fruit/veggies a day and supports government healthy eating for kids.
We also accommodate Halal, and other dietary requirements if requested.
Not Included:
Formula, Nappies, wipes, nappy cream, sun cream, big trips etc are not included in price and need to be provided by parents.

My son started with Peps beginning of May 2026. Peps is his third childminder due to unforeseen circumstances so I was very worried about how he would settle. Peps has been great in reassuring both me and my son and he settled really quickly. He now gets excited to go to her house in the morning and is always so happy to leave me. Peps has been fantastic with him and my son loves that he gets to go to the park so often and play on the swings. I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder to care for my son. I highly recommend her! Thank you Peps for all your hardwork that you do and for caring for my son like your own.

I am glad to see him settle really well and always excited to come to me and take part in daily activities. He absolutely love going to the park, and always so excited to watch me dance want to imitates me.

We were so glad to hear that Peps has opened a home nursery! She was such a support for us and our daughter during our time in Bristol. The transition to working life was easier thanks to her empathy and ways she went above and beyond to make us and our child comfortable. Something we’ve missed now we have moved

Peps is a fantastic person, my baby looks so happy and loves attending Peps Tiney home nursery. I couldn't ask for a better childminder to look after my baby. I highly recommend Peps.
