About Me
Hi, I’m Jess. I’m a qualified teacher with specialist experience working with babies and young children. I will be offering childcare from our home in Ince ( next to Amberswood nature reserve) from April 2026.
I live with my husband, our three children our family dog and two cats . As a mum myself , I truly understand how important it is to feel confident and reassured about who is caring for your child.
I create a nurturing, calm and happy environment where children feel safe, supported and free to be themselves. I have a strong understanding of child development, early learning and sensory play, but I believe the most important things are kindness, patience and genuine connection.
Parents often describe me as warm, approachable and reassuring – with a good sense of humour too! I love building trusting relationships with families and making sure you feel confident, informed and comfortable while your child is in my care.
Every child is unique, and I take real pride in getting to know them as individuals, supporting their development at their own pace, and celebrating all the little milestones along the way .
My Experience
Building on my background as a qualified teacher, I bring over 13 years of experience working in education, including leading Early Years provision within school settings. This has given me a deep understanding of child development and how to create high-quality, meaningful experiences that truly support children’s learning and wellbeing.
Alongside this, I have run my own baby sensory business, delivering Glow Sensory sessions to babies and families in our local community. This has been a role I have absolutely loved and a confident step away from the classroom to pursue something I have always wanted to do — working more closely with babies and families in a nurturing, hands-on way.
These experiences have shaped my approach to childcare and led me to childminding, where I can offer a personalised, home-from-home setting.
Here, I am able to provide nurturing, high-quality care tailored to each child, ensuring they feel safe, supported and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
Full Day Rate
£55 a day
Government funded 15 and 30 hours available
Tax Free childcare and government funded vouchers accepted
