Childminder in St. Helens
My Summary
Helping Little Ones Learn Through Nature And Play
About Me
Hi, I’m Holly! I’m a home-educating mum of two based in Haydock, St. Helens.
At Wild Home Learners, I offer a gentle, home-based setting for early years. I truly believe children thrive when they feel safe, unhurried, and free to explore the world in their own way. Our days here are relaxed and nurturing; we spend plenty of time in our outdoor playroom and garden, as well as wandering the local canals and woods.
I’m newly registered and so excited to be opening my doors, which means I have a lot of heart and energy to pour into our days! I place a big focus on emotional wellbeing, creating a warm, home-from-home environment where kids can be creative, connect with nature, and just have the space to be little, wild, and free.
If you’re looking for a gentler start for your little one in a small, settled family setting, I’d love for you to get in touch :)
My Experience
While I am a newly registered childminder, I bring over 15 years of professional experience in social care and disability support. I’ve held roles ranging from Support Worker and Classroom Assistant in a SEND school to Care Manager and Advocate.
My career has been dedicated to supporting people to thrive, and I’ve carried that passion into my own home. My biggest inspiration, however, comes from being a mum to two little ones under five. Navigating life with my own neurodiverse child has taught me more about patience, adaptation, and the beauty of "thinking differently" than any textbook ever could!
I’ve spent over a decade ensuring people feel heard and supported, and I’m so excited to bring those transferable skills along with my passion, into my own setting. I’m not just starting a business; I’m creating the kind of nurturing, inclusive space I wanted for my own children. You can rest assured that your little ones are in very capable, experienced, and caring hands.
