A Warm Family With Two Young Girls Seeking An Afterschool Pick Up Nanny
About Me
Our family welcome a part time pick-up/after school nanny/helper Monday - Friday for around 3-4 hours per day during school term times (33 weeks a year), and full time during school holidays (11 weeks a year) while we work. These are ideal times but we can be very flexible on the timing requirements for the right nanny. Mum and dad work in Finance and Law in London.
My Requirements
The main responsibility would include pick up our two children from Bisley (GU24) and drive them to Guildford High School and Rydes Hill School (on the way to GHS) in the morning (ideal but not compulsory). In the afternoon pick up the elder child (age 5) from GHS around 3:15 or 4pm depending on the day, then the younger one (age 3) from Rydes Hill 4:30pm. Upon arriving at home, it is expected the nanny will play with the children for a further hour. The preferred activities are drawing, painting, reading (the elder daughter is an avid reader and reads far beyond her age), board games, physical games in our gardens .etc. Nanny is not required to cook for the girls.
Our schedule can be adjustable for the right nanny. For example, if the nanny cannot do the morning run, we can manage that. The nanny must be an experienced driver as safety on the road is importance for this job.
In the past two years we have had two live-in au pairs from Europe and Australia working for us. Both extended their stay with us (form 6 months to 9 months) due to how much they enjoyed living with us. They both have formed lovely bonds with my girls and both times were very positive experiences. Now with the Australian au pair returning home to continue her study, we are seeking a live-out part time nanny. We hope the right candidate will bring a mutually enriching and beneficial experience. We will reward the right nanny competitively.
