About Me

I’m Freya, I’m 30 y/o and live in Oxfordshire. I work Monday to Friday and live with my partner, Tom. I come from a big family and we’re all really close, I don’t have children but I have 9 nieces and nephews, age from 3-22. I go to the gym and lift weights and enjoy relaxing, cooking and going out for dinner. I love going to the new forest and anywhere by the coast when I get the chance, and even better if I go anywhere away from England ??.
My job is really important to me and as I work Monday to Friday, times outside of this are best for me.

My Experience

I’m a registered mental health nurse working in CAMHS so my current work focuses on nursing the mental health needs of children age 5-18 (I can provide more detail if you are interested). I wouldn’t be working in the context of being a nurse however my skills in behavioural and therapeutic techniques are transferable. I have extensive experience in working with children with neurodiversities, additionally, I have a niece who is 4 years old and non verbal with autism, who I regularly look after, as well as her younger sister.
Before I worked as a nurse, I worked in a nursery’s and was a nanny working with predominantly age 0-2, and I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare.
I am ABLS (and ILS) trained and have worked with many children with various physical health needs in addition to mental health needs, including diabetes.

My Qualifications

BSc 2:1 in Mental health nursing at University of Gloucestershire
FDeg in nursing associate at Bucks New University (please ask for more info)

My Availability

I’m available for weekend babysitting and the occasional weekday, and being a helping hand if you needed somebody urgently.
