My Summary
About Me
I am a Computer Science student at university with a strong passion for working with children and supporting their learning. I am patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about helping primary-aged pupils build confidence in subjects like computing, maths, and problem-solving. Alongside my studies, I have developed strong communication and teaching skills through working with young learners, and I enjoy creating supportive, engaging lessons tailored to each child’s needs and pace. I aim to make learning enjoyable while encouraging curiosity, resilience, and independence.
My Experience
I have practical experience teaching and supporting children in educational settings. As a Coding Lab Assistant, I taught students aged 4–13 computational thinking and programming skills, adapting activities for different abilities and supporting SEND learners. I also communicated progress with parents and led group learning sessions and holiday camps.
