My Requirements

This role can be full-time or part-time (3-5 days a week) and would suit someone looking for a long-term position where they can truly become part of the family. Ideally, this would be the nanny’s sole role, as some flexibility with hours will occasionally be required. We are both professionals who do a mixture of work from home and travel to London. This is a sole charge role, but we would be happy to discuss bringing along a child/grandchild for the right candidate.

The role will include:
* Providing attentive, loving care in a safe and nurturing environment
* Engaging in age-appropriate play to support development
* Taking our son out for walks, local classes and baby group
* Supporting us with weaning and establishing healthy sleep routines
* Carrying out light child-related household duties where feasible, such as washing baby clothes, batch cooking meals for the baby, and tidying toys and play areas

We’re looking for someone who:
* Has a high level of experience and good references
* Is kind, reliable and genuinely enjoys working with babies
* Values building a close, trusting and long-term relationship with our family
* Is fairly local (up to 10 miles) and has a good knowledge of baby activities in the area

Qualifications - Level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification is preferred. You must have a clean driving licence, an enhanced dbs check and a paediatric first aid.

Hours - 3-5 days a week, to be agreed. Normal hours would be 8/8:30am-6pm. Wednesdays would be 6:30am to 7:30/8pm.

Pay – Depending on experience.

Start Date – March/April 2026.
