I am an experienced childcare professional with 12 years of experience working in a nursery setting, including 8 years in a management role. My favourite age group to work with is toddlers, and I particularly enjoy supporting children through this important stage of development. I enjoy getting involved in activities such as baking, creative play, outdoor adventures (muddy puddles included!), and relaxed film time. I’m also a Disney fan and love incorporating stories and music into play in an age-appropriate way.
My Experience
I have 12 years of hands-on childcare experience within a nursery environment, working with children across a range of ages. For the past 8 years, I have held a management role, which involved overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and child development.
My role required strong communication with parents, implementing routines, supporting children’s emotional and developmental needs, and managing key transitions such as toilet training. This experience has given me a solid foundation in child-led practice, consistency, and professional responsibility, which I am keen to bring into a nanny role.
While I am new to nannying, my extensive nursery and management experience has fully prepared me for the responsibilities of providing high-quality, attentive care within a family home.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 3 in childcare and education, paediatric first aid, designated safeguarding lead qualification and food hygiene training at level two.
My Availability
Monday-Friday from May 2026. I would like to work 4 days a week but am open to discussions.
My Fees
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
Open to discussion with correct family/ families. Roughly £17-£20 an hour.
