About Me
I grew up in the Lake District with my two sisters and single mum, who was a Norland nanny, so childcare has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve always been a creative person and naturally gravitated towards working with children, as it allows me to bring imagination and fun into everyday routines; whether that’s arts and crafts, role-play adventures or spontaneous outdoor games.
In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, yoga, drawing and singing, and I absolutely love animals. I’m a calm, positive and reliable person who enjoys creating a safe and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I value kindness and patience, and I enjoy introducing fun ways of learning such as reward systems, homemade resources and imaginative games, while always maintaining trust and clear communication so everyone feels comfortable.
My Experience
I have a little over 9 years' experience as a nanny, and prior to this I worked as an Au Pair and in Kid's Clubs and Crèche's abroad. These roles gave me the opportunity to work with children aged 6 months to 10 years.
I particularly enjoy working with children aged 1–3 due to their rapid development. From potty training and early language to celebrating the simple joys such as waving to a neighbour or discovering a twig on a walk. I’m also very comfortable supporting children through big emotions and see these moments as opportunities for learning, care and connection.
I have been in my current role for just over 7 years, with children who were 15 months and 3 years at the start of this journey. As the children are now growing older, it feels like the right time for me to start a new adventure.
The thought of being a part of another little one's journey through this wild quest we call life truly excites me. I have a genuine joy for my job. It is an incredible experience to see the world through children’s eyes and support them through their many milestones.
I enjoy planning stimulating activities tailored to each child's interests, whether that's role play scenarios, age-appropriate outdoor games, arts and crafts, or researching local activities that provide both enjoyment and learning opportunities. Proving opportunities to support children’s development and helping them build early learning skills, particularly with reading is a passion of mine.
I pride myself on preparing healthy meals with variety and encouraging children to try new foods. I feel confident guiding children safely and happily through milestones and transitions whilst maintaining routines, structure and clear communication with parents, always welcoming their guidance and ideas.

My Availability
I'm ideally looking to start around 01/04 due to prior travel commitments, however I would be happy to accommodate an earlier start date where possible.
