My Summary
About Me
Hello, I'm Hollie
I’m 35 and live with my partner. I’m a creative and who enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that’s going for walks, exploring nature, or planning fun and engaging activities.
I currently work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in an SEN garden school.
I love animals — especially dogs and cats — and I genuinely enjoy supporting children’s play, creativity, and development in a warm, calm, and positive environment. I have a real love for imaginative play, making children laugh, and creating enjoyable, meaningful experiences, while also understanding the importance of structure, routine, and consistency.
I enjoy board games, cooking, crafting, and I have strong communication skills. I’m also happy to help with house sitting if needed.
I’m reliable, confident, and friendly, with a responsible and professional approach. Families can trust me to be organised, dependable, and respectful of routines and individual needs.
I am sober, a non-smoker, DBS checked, first aid trained, and a non-driver.
My Experience

My work has developed strong skills in supporting children’s learning, emotional wellbeing, communication, and independence, as well as managing routines and responding calmly to individual needs.
I also have many years of babysitting experience for friends and family, caring for children of different ages. This has included daytime care, evening babysitting, bedtime routines, and providing support during weekends away, where I have taken full responsibility for children’s care, safety, and daily routines.
NVQ Level 2 in Adult Social Care, and 15 years experience of working with vulnerable adults, which has strengthened my understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, dignity, and person-centred support. This training has helped me develop strong awareness of care needs, responsibility, and professional standards when supporting others.
My transferable skills include:
Special educational needs experience.
Creating engaging, age-appropriate activities and play experiences
Supporting behaviour positively and consistently
Clear communication with children and families
Patience, empathy, and emotional awareness
