We are a friendly, family-oriented household based in Northamptonshire with four children aged 15, 9, 8 and 5. Our home is lively and busy but structured, with clear routines and expectations. My Requirements
We are looking for in-home support twice a week for full-day sessions of approximately 8 hours each. Our children are home-educated, so the role would involve helping maintain structure during the day, supporting learning, and engaging the younger children in focused, age-appropriate activities.
We are particularly seeking someone with experience supporting children with SEN, as additional academic support and a patient, adaptable approach are very important to us. A tutoring background or confidence in guiding independent study would be a strong advantage.
The ideal person would be proactive, organised and comfortable working with multiple age groups. We would also value occasional babysitting availability when needed.
A bonus would be someone happy to assist with light household tasks related to the children to help keep the home running smoothly.
Reliability, clear communication and a calm, confident presence are essential.
