Nicholas
After-School Nanny – Battersea (Clapham Junction) / Barnes – Starting April 2026
About Me
We are a warm and international family based in Battersea (Clapham Junction), London, looking for a reliable and kind after-school nanny for our 11-year-old son, starting April-May 2026.
My Requirements
Victor is an active, friendly, joyful and responsible boy who enjoys sports, being outdoors, and spending time with friends. We have always had long-term nannies (typically 3+ years), and we value building a positive and stable relationship.
Key Responsibilities
• Morning school drop-off when needed
• Afternoon pick-up from school (The Harrodian, Barnes) or from the school van stop
• Taking Victor to sports, parks, museums or playdates
• Supervising homework if needed
• Preparing simple snacks or light meals
• Working 8-5pm during school holidays (when we are not travelling)
Victor is very independent, so this role is more about companionship, organisation and logistics than intensive childcare.
Schedule (approximate)
• School term: roughly +20 hours per week
• Typical hours:
Morning (if needed): ~7:30–8:30am
Afternoon: ~3:30–7pm
School holidays: more hours (roughly 8–6pm when we are not travelling)
We can offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
Requirements
• Must live within easy commuting distance of Battersea (CLAPHAM JUNCTION)
• Previous experience with school-age children
• Responsible, energetic and kind
• Comfortable organising activities and outings
• DBS check and references preferred
• Portuguese speaker (Brazilian Portuguese preferred, but not required)
About Us
We are a friendly, international family with two children (our daughter is older and independent). We value kindness, reliability and building long-term relationships with the people who work with our family.
