About Me

I am a qualified teacher and experienced nanny with over ten years of hands on experience supporting children from infancy through to early teens, including children with additional needs. I am originally from the UK and have spent the past two years living and working in Australia, where I specialised in behaviour support and child development within allied health and education settings.
I am calm, patient and highly attuned to children’s emotional and sensory needs. I am particularly skilled in supporting routines, transitions, communication development and emotional regulation. I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, predictable and loving environment where children feel heard, understood and confident to explore and learn.
I am very hands on and proactive in my approach, supporting with meals, light household tasks related to the children, school routines, homework, outings and play based learning. I enjoy planning engaging activities that support children’s development, whether that’s creative play, outdoor adventures, reading, role play, games or calm regulation activities.
I value working closely with families and am confident liaising with schools, therapists and other professionals when needed.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends, walking, being creative, reading, and travelling.
I am happy to support children of all abilities and am particularly experienced with families seeking someone confident, organised, calm and knowledgeable in child development and behaviour support.
