Looking For Experienced Nanny For 2 Children (Aged 4 And 2), Bishopbriggs.
My Requirements
We are a family of 4 in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire. We work as hospital doctors, and juggle shift work with childcare. We have 2 children - Isla (4 years) and Calum (2 years).
Our children have been with a lovely childminder for years, who looks after Calum and collects Isla from nursery, however she has sadly given us notice due to a family health emergency. We were already planning to look for a Nanny when Isla starts school in August, as we feel it will make the hectic juggle of family life easier, and I'd like her to come home to her own environment after a school day.
We are now looking for someone to start with us 3 days/week (Mon-Wed) 8am-6pm, ideally from week commencing 13/04, but we do have Grandparents so we can be flexible about the start date, and we are willing to wait longer if we find the right person. I have applied to change my working hours in August, so we may look to scale back hours to 2 days (but this is not yet confirmed/could be negotiated).
We are looking for someone who would drop and collect Isla from school, look after Calum during the day, and have them both in the school holidays.
The ideal candidate would be experienced, willing to be a wee bit flexible (our rotas and holidays etc are often issued quite last minute, and the reality of hospital working means we are occasionally late, but we work hard to ensure this is uncommon). Non-smoker is essential. We would like someone to do a bit of easy meal preparation for kids' dinners, and light laundry would be a bonus (but not essential!). We like the kids to be allowed outdoors in all weathers, to eat well, and to be treated with love and respect.
Hourly rate negotiable.
Please get in touch if you may be interested in this position, and I would look to have an initial chat over the phone before meeting you.
