My Requirements

Hugo has just turned one and is an absolute joy — happy, playful and full of smiles. We're looking for someone who loves getting outside and exploring, whether that's making the most of what Barnes has to offer — a beautiful nature reserve on the doorstep, the river a 2-minute walk away, a lovely village with great cafés, and a big garden at home — or venturing further afield across London with Hugo in tow.

The role would suit someone already based in London or with their own accommodation arranged. We'd love to find someone who is nurturing, fun, genuinely passionate about early childhood, and excited by the idea of showing a curious one-year-old the city. Hugo will keep you on your toes!

What we're looking for:
Previous experience with babies or toddlers is important, but personality matters just as much. We're looking for someone outdoorsy and creative — someone who'll get stuck into sensory play, storytime, and adventures in the park as naturally as they'd go for a walk by the river. A genuine interest in early childhood development, and a desire to engage and stimulate Hugo as he grows, is really important to us. You'll need a current paediatric first aid certificate and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), and we'd ask for references from previous families.
