We are a friendly, professional family based in East Linton currently expecting our first child in September 2026. We love the local community and are looking to build a long-term, supportive relationship with a local childminder who can become a key part of our child’s early years.
My Requirements
What we are looking for:
We are planning a "blended" childcare approach for my return to work in late August/September 2027. Our goal is to secure one day per week (ideally Wednesdays) to complement our nursery days. We are specifically looking for a "home-from-home" environment where our child (who will be 11 months old at the start) can enjoy a quieter, nurturing day with plenty of outdoor play and local outings.
Our Ideal Childminder:
Reliable & Communicative: We value clear updates and a collaborative relationship.
Local Knowledge: Someone who enjoys taking the little ones to the local library, parks, or community groups.
Flexible Approach: We are interested in a carer who has a sensible approach to minor childhood illnesses (teething, etc.) and is registered for Tax-Free Childcare.
