About Me
My name is Mel and I am a 35 year old nanny living in Stevenage with my husband and 2 young children. I hold a level 3 NVQ in children’s care, learning and development. I hold an up to date first aid qualification and enhanced DBS check. I have 17 years experience of working with children aged 0-10 years, including newborn and special needs experience. I describe myself to be calm, compassionate, empathetic, nurturing, fun, creative and attuned to children’s needs. I have an excellent knowledge of child development and am passionate about enhancing children’s learning and life experiences. I am currently looking for a part time nanny position where my 2 year old daughter would be able to accompany me as a playmate for your little one(s). My Experience
I have gained 17 years experience of working with children aged 0-10 years in a variety of settings including schools, nurseries, crèches, after school clubs, nannying and babysitting. I have newborn experience and experience of working with children with special needs including autism, global delay and oral dyspraxia.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ level 3 in childrens care learning and development. I also hold a current paediatric first aid certificate
