About Me
My name is Jessica French, i am 19 years old and I am currently seeking employment within the child care environment. Ideally i am looking for a temporary live-in position as a nanny caring solely for a child or children aged 0-5 years ( maximum of 2 ) with a contract lasting at the most 1 year, 40 hrs per week whether this be abroad or remaining in the UK. I am a highly experienced and friendly childcare professional with over 2 years of childcare experience. I have a vast knowledge of developmental milestones and a wide knowledge of 'The Early Years Foundation Stage' (EYFS) which is a comprehensive statutory framework that sets the standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to five in England.
During my time as a Kindergarten Nursery Nurse and primary school teaching assistant i have worked with children ranging from newborns to 12 years in age. Despite my young age i take a mature approach, i am kind, caring and have a true passion for working with children. I would absolutely love the opportunity to work with a family and become a close friend and reliable nanny.
I have a fun, loving personality and a good sence of humour. I am highly musical and this reflects in the care i provide for children. I love engaging children in a sing-along! Other interests include, art, swimming and in my spare time i enjoy socialising with my friends and most importantly my family.
My Experience
Nursery Nurse, 2 years - I have gained alot of experience working with all ages; babies, tots, toddlers and pre School. I have been responsible for the children’s daily care, e.g. play/interaction, hygiene, meals, assessments, planning, organisation and meetings .
I have developed a vast knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the six areas of learning which I incorporated into my play, observations and planning. I have had many key children to which I planned play activities for, linking to the Early Years Foundation Stage. This involved me organising their individual folders with assessments, observations and photo’s.
My Qualifications
• CACHE Level 2 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
• Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Workforce. (equivalent to an NVQ
level 3)
• Paediatric First Aid
• Safeguarding Level 1/2.
• Food Hygiene.
• CACHE Level 2 key skills in Application of number.
• Early Years certificates gained from attending Birth to Five courses.

2003 - 2009 Gleed Girls Technology school, Neville Avenue Spalding
• 9 GCSE Grades A to C - English, English Literature, Maths, Science, Art,
Child Development, Religious Education, ICT, and French.
• B GCSE Grade in Child Care, Learning and Development.
• OCR Level 2 certificate for IT users
My Availability
I am available to live in to provide daily care, full-time for 6-12 months. This includes evening care and some weekends.

£9.00 - £9.50 an hour
