I have a Degree in Social Policy and a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, meaning I am a qualified teaching assistant/room leader in nursery.
I am currently qualifying as a psychotherapist and work as a Relationships and Sex Educator for a charity.
I have in the past volunteered for multiple organizations (Childline (volunteer counsellor), Down Syndrome Association, CAIS). This includes fundraising, such as climbing Snowdon in a prom dress (PromAlly), fundraising over £1500 as a team. I have also marshalled at events for St David’s Hospice. I have been a dedicated volunteer for the local Contact the Elderly group, having been a host and driver for 4 years. Due to this work, I was the recipient of the Highly commended Young Person Award in the 2018 Wales Volunteer of the Year Awards.
My Experience
I have been working within families as a nanny since I was 18, this including a Live In role to two high net worth (public eye) families.
I have experience with children 3 months to 9 years of age due to work and placements. I have also helped with the charity 'Save the Family', volunteering in their nursery to cover other staff.
I have previously worked in Gogarth as a bank TA and Ysgol Nant Y Coed (now closed). From this I have varied amounts of experience with blindness, teenagers and young children with additional needs.
I have experience working in a Children's Sexual Exploitation unit.
I have experience with children who have sensory disorders, cerebal palsy and attachment disorders.
I work separately within the mental health sector, and was previously the Coordinator for Relate's Children's Contact Centre in Rhyl.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs (higher) at The Queen's School, Chester
Btec Level 3 Childcare and education - a qualified room leader at a nursery/ teaching assistant in primary school.
Social Policy Degree, Bangor University
I am CPR trained ( paediatric and adult), and have a babysitting qualification.
Enhanced CRB checked.
I have a full clean driver's licence and a car.
My Availability

Charlotte has babysat for my 4 children (aged 7, 5, 4 and 3) for over 2 years. She is like the Mary Poppins of the modern day. My children adore her and often ask myself and my husband to organise a night out just so they can see her. She often brings art activities for them to complete, we have come home to decorated mugs and beautiful masks. Not only is Charlotte fun but she is totally in control and has the ability to deal with any situation that may arise through her extensive training. I can not recommended Charlotte enough, she is an exceptional babysitter. Being able to trust someone else with your precious children can be very difficult, Charlotte makes this easy!

After a fair few failures trying to find somebody to look after my son for a very short amount of time per day I am very happy to have hired Charlotte as my son (2 years old) has taken to her immediately and can be very awkward for people he doesnt like. He is very happy with her and gets upset when she has to leave him, think thats a good sign!

Charlotte has been babysitting my 2 children (5 and 2) and they both love her - she is responsible, reliable, trustworthy, good fun and definitely knows how to keep children busy with lots of games, arts & crafts, etc. so I have no hesitation in recommending her.
