My Summary
About Me
Hi my name is Debbie and I have been a childminder for 12 years. I have 2 children of my own aged 15 & 18, I have always loved being around children, I live with my partner in Runcorn. I am Ofsted Registered and insured by Morton Michel. I also have my diploma level 3 in childcare and am fully trained in first aid. As I enjoy being a childminder so much I have had a new extension built on the side of my house which is used as the main playroom for the children.
After working in Accounts for 10 years I decided to retrain so I can do what I love best and become a childminder.
I am a very friendly and outgoing person and I believe there should never be a sad face in a room when children are about.
I will offer healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. We keep busy by enjoying all lovely activities in the home like cooking, painting, reading and we will also enjoy the outdoors and go to the local play groups, parks to feed the ducks, soft play areas, rhyme time at the library, zoo, beach and go for picnics in the summer.
Unfortunately I don't do school drop off or pick ups, I've recently decided to give these up to enable me to give my full attention to the little ones.
I offer as many free settling in sessions as required to ensure the child and the parent are both happy and comfortable.
I guarantee all children are well loved and cared for like my own and will enjoy every minute of being here. The days will be full of fun and laughter.
If you are interested please add me as a favourite and I will send you a message!
My Experience
I have always loved being with children and loved becoming a mum myself. I have been a Ofsted Registered childminder for over 12years and really love the job I do. I have always been a working parent and I know how hard it is to find good and reliable childcare. After using both a private nursery and a childminder myself I now know the childminder is definitely the best option. They can offer a more loving and secure environment and the home from home feeling that I believe young children need. A childminder also builds a stronger relationship and bond with both the child and parent.
My Qualifications
I am ofsted registered and insured my Morton Michel.
I have completed a paediatric first aid course and a childminding course.
I also have my diploma level 3 in childcare.
I follow the EYFS statutory framework which is the same as all other early years providers.
My Availability
I am available all year round but do take 4-5 weeks holiday a year. I do not do wrap around care for school children anymore but I am available for school holidays and may even be able to offer my services if Grandparents or current Childminder is going on holiday or unavailable.
I can offer a term time only contract for parents that work in Schools.
I offer all government funded childcare and accept payments through tax free childcare.

My 2 year old son is looked after by Debbie twice a week, I moved him from a nursery to her after hearing wonderful things about her from a friend of mine. My little boy has food allergies and Debbie has made every effort to ensure his safety around his needs and he has never had any issues in her care. I’m the few months of my son being with Debbie he has came on so much, learning more and really benefiting from being in a smaller group of children. He gets excited to see Debbie and the other children including Debbie’s own, he has learned all their names and tries to talk about them constantly as is so happy to be with them whilst I work. She has a lovely tidy extension on her own home dedicated to the children she cares for, suitable for all age groups, takes the children out on lovely outings and has a nice big garden for them to play in too. Debbie is an exceptional child minder, caring and very knowledgable, and if there’s anything she doesn’t know she does what she can to find out so she knows she is doing everything right for your child. I have always been apprehensive about using a private child minder but I’m so glad I made the change from nursery as it really has been the best thing for my son. I also get photographs and updates sent to my phone that I love to see, he gets a little home work pack and check lists so I know what he has been doing, learning and where he should be for his age. Since being with Debbie his speech and confidence has grown and he starting to count and learn colours as she always stimulates him. I couldn’t ask for a better child minder.

Our daughter has been with Debbie since she was 9 months old and it is amazing to see how much she has come on since being with Debbie. We were very nervous first time parents and the thought of leaving our daughter while we were at work was something that we found quite difficult, however Debbie gave us so much reassurance it made the the transition so much easier. Lucy loves going to see Debbie every day and does so much with her and the other children. We love that Debbie only has a few children at one time as she is able to give each child the attention they need. Debbie is so knowledgeable of child development and as first time parents it’s great to know where Lucy is up to and offer us any advice on how to best support her in the next stage of development. Debbie provides such a warm family environment and our daughter loves her two sons who always are so welcoming to the kids in her care. Lucy has allergy issues and this is something that Debbie has been really supportive of. We feel like we’ve hit the jackpot finding Debbie and we couldn’t recommend her enough.

This was so lovely to read Faye, thanks so much. Lucy is a real pleasure to look after, such a happy little girl and we all love her being around. She loves the little routine here and really enjoys the days out (especially going to see the animals)
I love seeing them all so happy and excited when we go out, can't wait to make more memories with them :)
Our boy has been with deb since he was 11 months old now and will continue until he goes to school next year.
Deb had always been warm and welcomed us into her playroom which is a self contained setting attached to her family home when we first met. We just knew she would give our boy the love and attention we desired. We was anxious first time parents and worried about his needs being overlooked in a bigger childcare setting. I knew this wouldn’t happen at Debs house. She doesn’t have too many children at once and provides them with the 1:1 time they need.
Deb has supported our needs with weaning, potty training as well as helping our child flourish in so many ways. Deb helped us when George had allergies and always offered appropriate food/milk. She also supported of breastfeeding journey bu correctly storing expressed breast milk and offering him a bottle.
Educationally our son is well ahead of where he needs to be, he will definitely be ready for school when he goes next year.
I love how much George loves deb and her family. Her two boys are brilliant with him and he loves to play with them.
Deb has brilliant facilities for her children including a lovely, colourful outdoor space.
We are so lucky to have found you deb and are forever grateful for all you have done looking after George every week.
