Positive and loving with a passion for supporting children to be happy, healthy and well-behaved and encouraging a love of exploration and learning in every child – even the most apprehensive and the very young!
I'm particularly inspired by the under 5s age group and I’ve supported multiple families to care for their children from infancy through to school stage, with all the milestones in between (weaning, walking, talking, potty training, reading etc.) I am also experienced in looking after multiple children of varying ages, for example baby and toddler sibling. I also gained multiples experience when I worked in a shared care role caring for triplets with additional medical and developmental needs alongside a live-in nanny.
I like to keep children active and spend a lot of time outside in nature. Some activities depending on age could include: games, dancing, yoga and mindfulness, scavenger hunts, water play etc. Cooking, baking and gardening are all great activities with children too, even toddlers.
For infants, focusing on sensory exploration, music, communication (signing, talking, language), hitting milestones at their own pace but with encouragement and the support to do so.
Most of all, lots of love and laughter!
