The most wonderful start in life for our son

We have been so lucky to have Lea caring for Leo over the past four years. I switched to a childminder because my son wasn’t getting on in the nursery environment. I was worried about him not being in a “nursery/school setting” but I knew I was in safe & supportive hands as soon as I met Lea.

From the very start, she has provided a safe, nurturing environment where my son has been able to learn, grow, and thrive. Her communication has always been clear and thoughtful, keeping us informed and reassured every step of the way. She is professional, reliable, and truly dedicated to the children in her care. Most importantly, the bond she has built with Leo is something I will always treasure. I cannot thank her enough for the love, patience, and support she has shown him, he adores her and I always left feeling like he’s in good hands. She has been such an important part of his early years & I’m forever grateful for her. We will still continue to work with Lea on half terms & summer holidays because we don’t want to lose that connection.

If you’re unsure whether to choose nursery or childminder, I’d say choose Lea. My son thrived as soon as he switched!

The best decision I could make. She is the best!

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Lea in 2022. It was such a special moment for both me and my daughter. I really wanted my daughter to learn to be more independent because she was always with me, and I'm so grateful that we were able to achieve that together. With Lea, she has learned a variety of activities, from cooking and feeding herself to tidying up, enjoying puzzles, reading books, singing, and gardening. Lea has been amazing at involving my daughter in various outdoor activities like going for walks, attending playgroups, and spending time in the parks. As a result, my daughter has developed a love for the outdoors and really enjoys socializing with other children. I've noticed that she has become more outgoing and extroverted, thanks to these experiences. Lea is such a caring, loving, and attentive person who treats your child like family. I highly recommend her. Thank you so much for your support and for being with us through these years.

The Best Childminder like a Family !!!

Lea is a lovely person. I would never find better childminder for my child. She is always happy to help. My daughter was only 1 year old when she went to Lea and I must say she did the best job I xould imagine. She teach her everything the same way as me at home from cooking together, tidy up, gardening and many many more. I didn't even send my daughter to start in reception as I was so Happy with Lea and with all her work she was doing. My daughter is missing her so much and every time we going school she is asking me if she can go to Lea instead school. I don't have a words to say how thankful I am to had her.

Your trust in me means more than I can say. Supporting her with cooking, tidying, gardening, and all the little routines that build independence has been a pleasure — she always showed such enthusiasm and curiosity.

Hearing that she enjoyed her time with me so much that she still asks to come back is one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive. It shows the strong bond we built, and I miss her too. She has such a bright, kind personality, and she brought so much joy into my setting every single day.

Absolutely amazed with the service provided!

Lea is loved by kids, just simply loved. She is very attentive, helping and with list of good tips for parents. My son had no issues going to her setting from the day one and loved it to the bits. A lot of toys to go through, plenty of small tours to farms and parks, even cinemas :) Fresh meals, cookery classes and a lot more to offer. If I only could I would have left my son with Lea for one more year, but well kids are growing fast and we have another chapter ahead of us now.

Exceptional childminder!

We have only positive things to say about Lea and her setting. Our son has been with her for 8 months and we are very impressed by how much he has developed with her: signing, feeding himself, drinking from a cup, painting, drawing, pretend play. He grew in confidence around other children and adults. Most importantly, he is happy and we know that he is in great hands!

Can't recommend highly enough!

I can't recommend Lea highly enough - she really is the real deal and has consistently exceeded our expectations when looking after our toddler. He comes home happy, energized and stimulated after a day with her. She sees the best in each child and they attach to her easily.

My son is a lockdown child and had a lot of separation anxiety when he started with Lea. He was weary of being left with anyone other than me. She provided the security he needed, while exposing him to other adults and children in a fun way, which brought him out of his shell.

Every day the kids get up to different fun activities and it's lovely to receive an update and pictures.

We are absolutely gutted that our son can't continue with Lea as we're moving county.

My child has loved every minute with Lea!

Lea is a very calm, fun, and positive childminder, turning almost anything into an interesting learning-through-play activity for the children, and she treats each and every child like one of the family.

Lea is very supportive of different parenting styles, is a great communicator and always has useful experience and advice to share.

Inside her setting there’s a good variety of toys, storytelling props, displays from the children and lots of bright educational posters to engage the children. She gets them involved in everything from baking and making to tidying up.

The outside garden area of is very well thought-out and packed full of vibrant colour, sensory, science and role play opportunities. Lea also uses the outdoor space to get the childrens hands dirty with lots of crafts, and caring for plants and animals.

My eldest child has spent 4 years with Lea and has loved every minute! Our youngest adores spending time there too. We can’t express enough how grateful we are for the stable, nurturing environment she has provided throughout and for all the love and joy she has given to our children each day that’s been spent with her.

First Class - We can't speak highly enough

Lea provides a safe, happy and nurturing environment for the children. Our son positively enjoyed his time with her and developed in so many ways. Lea provides a structured environment for the children. She encourages existing good habits and teaches new ones.

We all talk to our friends about childcare provision and I feel there is something which sets Lea apart from others. Lea works hard at providing educational play and structured learning activities to help develop the interests and personalities of the children. There are lots of creative, arty type things (something I am just not very good at) in the home plus visits and trips to nearby events and attractions. When we ask our son 'what did you do today' he always has plenty to tell us.

Lea is a straight forward person to deal with. She gives plenty of feedback to parents and it is always constructive. We recommending her without hesitation.

100% Ofsted Outstanding - Childminder

Lea has been looking after my two young children for the past couple of years, then the older one before this.
She takes the boys out to parks and local play activity centres. The house is set up with learning in mind with wall activities in the hallway each one has a coat and hand towel hook and an activities book so I or my wife can keep up to date on their progress and their learning.
Lea is very dedicated to the children, I find her very professional and her house is very clean and set up to be so child friendly. I am always asking her advice as she has so much knowledge on what to do, I leave for work in the morning and drop them at Lea's knowing that my two little ones are happy and safe for the day.

I would 100% recommend this childminder she has Ofsted Award for Outstanding for the past two years which I hear is rare to get now days.
