Hi my name is kay I live in st.helens, I’m Ofsted registered childminder and have been registered since 2011 and before that I worked in private day nurseries and a childminder assistant.
Although I enjoyed working in nurseries I decided it wasn’t for me as I love working with children and there wasn’t much one to one time. I create a warm, caring, friendly home from home environment for your children to learn and grow while you’re at work.
I offer childcare for children from 8 weeks right through to 12 years old.
I pride myself in creating a home from home environment we are an extended family and create a close bond with your child and you as I find it helps the children to settle in and build relationships, I’m here to support both you and your child were possible, if you have a problem or just a chat.
I cater for special needs to the best of my ability and I am currently completing a Special Educational Needs course to advance my knowledge and understanding in this area.

i have worked in a nursery for 2- 3 years, been a childminder assistant and have been a registered childminder for 10 years.
i enjoy playing with the children an especially messy play as the children love it. also i have been brought up around children, as my mum has been a childminder for 20 years and i have always helped.

My little girl has been attending Kay’s childminding setting since I went back to work in September and we are 110% sure that this is the perfect choice. My little girl absolutely loves going to Kay’s and is coming on in leaps and bounds since attending. The children are well stimulated and there are lots of different toys to interest them and all their needs are well catered for. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kay to anyone looking for childcare. We really feel that Kay is part of our family and that we are part of hers.

I have used kay to look after all 3 of my children for a number of years from when my daugher was a baby she is now 10 and my 2 sons are 8 and 5 I find her very caring loving and treated my children like they were family I also find her hourly rates very good as other childminders are alot more expensive I would recommend her to anybody needing childcare as she has had a massive impact in my childrens life and when they see her at the school their faces light up
