About Me
I am an NVQ 3 qualified Registered and Accredited Childminder which means I can take children for their 3 yr old nursery funding. I am also Approved therefore taking children with funding plus also the 2 year funding.
Providing a home-from-home environment for children and giving them opportunities to grow curious, confident, capable and happy. We are outdoorsy, enjoying mostly our local beaches and woodland as well as using my large garden. We also visit local parks, play groups, soft play areas, music and dance groups where available and occasionally zoos/aquariums, museums and the library. Sociability is important too in the early years and so we meet up with other childminders to give the children chances to make social connections outside of the group here. Being an intimate setting, the early years form strong bonds, even across the ages with after school children.
We do a lot of the things you'd expect from any childcare provision - play dough, painting, cooking, music, reading, jigsaws, creating pictures/craft, table top games, connective toys and loose parts. I'm known for having a strong passion for connecting children with nature and so we're quite hands on when we go out - looking for bugs and wading in streams. I created a free meet up toddler group at the beach locally (called Beach Buddies) in an effort to get more children on the beach and bring families together.

My child goes to pam and she is really good with him. she offers a variety of activities, including going to the woods often, painting and reading plus much more. My child has developed really well with his confidence, speech, mobility and imagination and i believe this has a lot to do with pam. Pam is great at communicating with parents, including emails, pictures, letters and day to day diaries. I have a newborn who i hope will also go to pam when he is old enough. If you are looking for someone who can really look after your child and you want to have confidence in their abilities then this is your lady.
