Have you got access to the extended entitlement so you can access 30 hours free for your child, BUT CANNOT USE ALL OF IT AS YOUR CURRENT SETTING DOESN'T OFFER IT. Why not split your hours and do the other 15 hours with us. Only extra charge would be £5.00 per day if we have to pick up or drop off your child either at school or home.

Open 6 days a week,52 weeks a year, we are extremely flexible to meet all parents/carers needs.

My name is Christine and I have been a Childcarer for over 20 years.

At present, I am working towards my BA in Early Years and then hopefully gain my EYPS.

I have opened up a childcare facility in Shirebrook. It offers a nursery with flexible childcare as well as a out of school and holiday club. We are the only local setting open 6 days a week to support shift patterns.

This environment is great for children of all ages and abilities, having disabled access throughout the building.

This environment offers older children the opportunity to interact with a large amount of activities such as heuristic play that are age and stage appropriate. We have recently added a new baby room and rearranged the other rooms to offer a really unique setting. We will offer a range of food and drinks as well as outings in the holiday. All food is freshly made on site daily.

The younger children have opportunities to explore and developed in a highly stimulating environment with lots of age and stage appropriate activities.

The setting has 24 hour cctv on site in all rooms to allow parents/carers to have piece of mind as well as keeping the environment safe.

Awarded and gained national highly commended 2008 Childminder of the year by Nursery world and runner up for the 4 Children s charity in 2008.I gained finalist for Childminder of the year 2010 for Nursery world.

I live with my husband Lee, who is NVQ 3 trained in childcare and two children, Stephen is 23 years and Francesca is 19 years

We make regular outings and trips during holiday time which are extra to the hourly price. Children have the opportunity to enjoy play in a loving and welcoming home environment.

We regularly plan to meet the needs of all children with the support of parents and carers. Due to us having our learning journals online, it gives parent/carers the opportunity to view information about their child such as daily diaries, observations, photos and in return parent/carers can interact online with their child's key worker and upload any relevant information they have on their child. It allows us to develop a whole picture of each child. Throughout the year each room will have a coffee morning/parents evening so you can spend time with the key worker and explore your child's progress in learning and development.

We also welcome children with all additional/ special educational needs and those from different cultures and backgrounds.

We have a vast amount of experience with multiple births, and children with Autism, Adhd, Aspherger's, PDA, Behaviour issues and Downs syndrome.

We also have extensive knowledge and experience with bilingual children.

All staff are paediatric first aid trained and regularly undertake additional training. All my childcarers are minimum NVQ level two trained in childcare.

We also do a variety of school pick ups and drop offs in Shirebrook -St Josephs;Model School; Park Road; Langwith Bassett and Brookfield; Sherwood School- Warsop, Calow Primary,Welbeck street C of E Bolsover, Horsehead lane junior school Bolsover, Scarcliffe Primary, Shuttlewood - Brockley Primary, Bramley Vale primary, Bolsover Academy school, New Bolsover school, Whaley Thorns Primary; Cuckney Primary, Palterton primary school, Birklands -Warsop, Hetts Lane- Warsop, Church Vale school -Church Warsop, Meden Vale- Warsop, Anthony Bek-Pleasley, Heath primary school

If your school is not one of the above and if you are interested ,we will try to accommodate your needs for the school you require (subject to availability)

We do where possible pick up and drop offs from home, at the moment we cover Glapwell, Bolsover, Shirebrook, Mansfield and Warsop areas.

All our vehicles are fully insured and each child travelling in them is fully insured in case of accident or injury.

We accommodate early mornings from 5am and currently Saturday care is to suit parent/carers that do shifts or irregular working patterns.

We are being really flexible with parent/carers who need childcare during the pandemic and are needing unsociable hours to meet their work commitments. We have taken lots of steps to ensure children, staff and parent/carers remain as safe as possible while they are attending the setting in accordance with government and PHE guidance.

I’ve been with chestnuts for the past 5 years and I can not fault them. They have been so supportive and nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s been lovely to see my little boy grow and the things he’s made will be something I will treasure. Overall an amazing nursery with a dedicated team to ensure your child reaches their full potential 😁😁

Chestnut Childcare are absolutely fabulous! I placed my daughter in full time when she was 6 months old and she truly loves it :)

It is a nursery enviroment with a family ethic, this means that I truly feel like my daughter is getting the time, attention and (most importantly of all) the care that she needs. Chestnut's are so supportive and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble!

They support their caring and sensitive enviroment with a learning programme so you can be sure that your child is developing and at the right speed.

I really wouldn't consider using anybody else!
