Hello. My name is Ash. I'm 38 years old and have two wonderful children, both girls.
I know how hard it is to leave your children in childcare (I cried when I left my daughter at pre-school for the first time), but please be assured that I offer a home from home environment in a loving and nurturing home, so that the children that I care for feel comfortable, safe and happy and can thrive within my care. I work with a qualified assistant who is amazing with the children, and between us we provide stimulating activities, excellent learning opportunities. The children benefit with the smaller ratios and lots of one on one.
I have a dedicated playroom with a range of toys and activities for all ages and stages and have an enclosed garden with lots of outdoor toys, which do get played with come rain or shine! We are out and about often. Visiting parks, playgrounds, toddler groups, aswell as trips to the farm, soft play and regulars at our local library.
The children absolutely love all the extra curricular activities we provide. Our Kidslingo Spanish class that is held every fortnight in my home is very popular and some of our little ones have picked up lots of words already (very impressive), we also have a regular music class and the children look forward to this too. We are also looking at providing a regular yoga bugs session
I am a very calm, patient and fun loving individual and just adore being with children. I have a good understanding of child development (being a mum) and have studied child psychology.
I am happy to offer flexible childcare on an ad hoc basis should the need arise. Also happy to accommodate shift work patterns.
My Experience
Of course being a mum to my 2 girls I have lots of experience. In addition to this, I have over 7 years' experience of working in a home based setting.

My mum was also a childminder so while growing up I was always surrounded by children.
I am able to provide references upon request.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered, hold a first aid certificate and have completed the level 3 in homebased childminding. I have also studied child psychology. I have a BA (HONS) degree in Social Policy.
I am a member of the NCMA.
My Availability
Available Mon-Fri from 7.30 until 6pm (flexible outside these times too)

Best childminder for my son. I was very nervous to let him go, but Ash was so sweet and helpful for both of us every single day. So many great things about her, she’s literally amazing!! My son learned new words and participated in all of the fun and safe activities every single day. He grew to love Ash so much! I highly recommend her to anyone!
