About Me
Hi, my name is Alisha. I am a registered childminder via an Ofsted-registered childminding agency. I am married and have 3 boys aged 10, 8, and 16 months. We are a non-smoking household.
I strive to provide a warm, safe, and friendly home from home environment .
There is a vast amount of green space walking distances from my home as well as a large forest area nearby that the children will explore every day.
I care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, and I look after a maximum of 2 children under the age of 5 during the day. I also offer before and after school care.
I enjoy being at home and raising my children and having the opportunity to provide them with a stimulating, fun, loving, and learning environment.
I have always had a passion for looking after children and massively enjoy supporting and providing an environment where children can thrive.
I'm passionate about child-led play, outdoor learning, and observing a child progress in their developmental milestones. I’m trained in the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding, child development, and more.

My Experience
I have a wealth of experience looking after children as I've worked in childcare for 10+ years, and I'm a parent.
I worked as a nursery practitioner in a nursery and then studied to become a health play specialist and worked in a hospital with children from birth to 18 years. I have also spent time looking after newborns and providing play in the neonatal ward.
I have looked after babies and children regularly in a community setting, creating a safe and clean environment, and providing age-appropriate play activities and resources.
I have level 2 and 3 childcare qualifications and a foundation degree in Healthcare Play Specialism, which covers child development, therapeutic play, developmental play, and more.

My Availability
I currently am full and won't be accepting any more children at the moment.
