About Me
Hi, My name is Alisha, and I am a registered childminder through an Ofsted-registered childminding agency. I am married and have three boys aged 12, 10, and 3 years. Our household is non-smoking, and I am committed to providing a warm, safe, and friendly home-from-home environment for the children I care for.
Located within walking distance of my home, there is a large park area with an abundance of green space and a playground where the children can explore daily. I cater to children aged 6 months to 5 years, with a maximum of two children under the age of 5 in my care during the day.
I take great joy in being at home and raising my children, and I am passionate about providing a stimulating, loving, and educational environment for them. This passion extends to the children I care for, as I believe in supporting their growth and development through child-led play, outdoor learning, and observing their progress in reaching developmental milestones.
I am trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, safeguarding, child development, and more, and I am dedicated to continuously expanding my knowledge and skills in childcare.

My Experience
I have a diverse background in childcare and healthcare, beginning my career as a nursery practitioner in a nursery setting. I then pursued further education to become a Health Play Specialist, working extensively with children from birth to 18 years in a hospital environment. Additionally, I have experience caring for newborns and facilitating play activities in the neonatal ward.
In community settings, I have consistently provided care for babies and children, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment while offering age-appropriate play activities and resources. My qualifications include Level 2 and 3 in childcare, as well as a foundation degree in Healthcare Play Specialism. This specialized degree encompasses areas such as child development, therapeutic play, developmental play, and more.
I am dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to children across various settings, drawing upon my knowledge and expertise in childcare and healthcare.

I cannot recommend our childminder highly enough. She has done a truly fantastic job with my 3-year-old son, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. From day one, she created a warm, caring, and engaging environment where he has absolutely thrived.
She is patient, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about children’s development. My son has grown in confidence, learned new skills, and always comes home excited to share what he did that day. The activities she plans are creative, educational, and perfectly suited to his age, and it’s clear she puts so much thought and effort into making each day enjoyable.
What I appreciate most is her fantastic communication — she keeps us updated, shares lovely moments from the day, and always makes us feel reassured that he’s in the best hands.
Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for our son. You’ve been an incredible support to our family, and we’re truly grateful. I would highly recommend you to any parent looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and exceptional at what they do.
