My Experience

As an Ofsted registered childminder, I am passionate about providing a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure and valued.

I have many years of experience caring for children of different ages, from babies through to school-aged children. I support each child’s individual learning and development through fun, play-based activities that encourage confidence, independence and curiosity.

I regularly attend training to keep my knowledge and skills up to date, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid and food hygiene. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to help every child reach their full potential while working closely with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, loved and encouraged. Every day includes a balance of indoor and outdoor play, creative activities, stories, music, messy play, local walks and visits to parks, as well as opportunities to develop social skills and prepare for school.

Many of the children I have cared for have stayed with me until they started school, and I take great pride in building lasting relationships with both children and their families.

At Justkidz Childcare, my aim is to provide a caring, stimulating and welcoming environment where every child can thrive.

My Qualifications

My qualifications include:

* Full Ofsted Registration.
* Paediatric First Aid (renewed every three years).
* Safeguarding Children training.
* Food Hygiene and Safety certification.
* Training in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Ongoing professional development through regular childcare courses and updates to ensure I remain current with legislation and best practice.

I also hold:

* A valid Enhanced DBS Check.
* Public Liability Insurance.
* Registration with HMRC to offer Tax-Free Childcare (Childcare Choices).

My Availability

I offer flexible childcare to support the needs of working families.

Opening Days

* Monday to Thursday
* Closed on Fridays, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Contracts Available

* Term-time only.
* All-year-round.
* Funded childcare places

Current Availability

From September 2026

* One Monday afternoon space available (1:00 pm – 4:30 pm).

From March 2027

* One full-time childcare place available.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are often booked well in advance. If you are expecting a baby or planning childcare for the future, I would be happy to discuss your requirements and add you to my waiting list if no spaces are currently available.

My Fees

• Childminding from £9.50 per hour

Government funding is available at my setting for 15 or 30 hours for eligible children aged 9 months to 3 years.
From 3 years old , children will move to preschool setting
Funding sessions 7am -5pm

Any additional hours, or care for children who are not eligible for funding, will be charged at a rate of £10 per hour.

Please note that funded hours do not include meals, snacks, nappies or wipes all of these items would need to be provided by parents .
