As a first time mum who had to go back to work full time I was looking for the perfect childcare set up for my little one. Elettra and the girls provided this and more. Elettra reassured me and always kept me informed whilst my little one was settling in and throughout his time there, whether it be through his daily activity log a photos or a call/ text. He thoroughly enjoyed every day with them, he settled quickly and would walk in no problems. Elettra also gave me the confidence to not have to rock my little one to sleep and he sleeps unaided now and that was thanks to her support and guidance. Also my biggest thanks is how much he’s developed especially as Covid made it hard to do activities whilst on maternity leave but during his time at Elettra’s he talks more, participated in daily activities (Crafts/ soft play/ group stories and songs), got to interact with other children and as a result has flourished. I was really sad to say good bye and that was only because we were leaving the area. I’m so grateful I can keep in touch with them.

There aren't enough stars for Elettra. With the help of Luisa and Henna, she runs a vibrant and loving childminding service where our daughter was truly cared for as an individual. They make all their food from scratch (including pizzas on Thursday evenings!) and every child sleeps in their own cot. Elettra was always there whenever we had questions about parenting (e.g. toddler tantrums, food, sleep) and every time her advice was insightful, helpful beyond words and tailored to our daughter's personality. She even led us by the hand through the potty training journey, and I'm honestly not sure how we would have done it without her help. Truly fantastic.

Elettra and her team (Luisa and Henna), are loving and so caring with the children. It really feels like a family for the little ones and an extended family for us.
They used to go out everyday to open plays before Covid-19.
Her house is nicely set and clean and it is always full of action and joy.
Elettra is really part of the Chiswick community and is a genuine lovely person.
She provides a nurturing, stimulating environment for the children.
Our little one is so happy and a big fan.

From the moment you are greeted at the door, Elettra and her team make you feel so welcome. My son Finley looks forward to go there and when I pick him up you can see he had a lovely day.
I get updates everyday on how his day was and regular pictures so I know he is having fun.
They never stay in if there is no need to and they always have something fun planned.
I honestly feel like I’m leaving my Son with a member of my family.
We couldn’t be happier as a family to know that my little one is safe while I’m busy at work.

I only have positive things to say about Elettra, her “nursery” and her staff. I found her by chance and, although she was the furthest away from us, I had a feeling she was the best choice - and indeed she was.
She is and has all the obvious things you expect a competent and prepared childminder to be (clean setting, which I hadn’t found at others I visited, appropriate activities for the children, good food cooked from scratch - she is Italian after all! Etc...) But most importantly: she is caring and truly connects with the children, which is what made her special to me.
Worth mentioning She has an online journal per child, password protected, that updates daily with pictures and “vital info”: such as foods they had and toilet trips.
She runs a clear and structured routine based day - but is also very open to accommodate the child’s individual needs
My daughter started at Elettra’s she had just turned 6 months. She is a strong minded baby, who doesn’t like strangers, is VERY attached to me and, when I started to leave her, wasn’t settling very well at nap time. Well, she quickly grew fond of Elettra and would happily move from my arms to hers when leaving in the morning - which she wouldn’t even do with my husband (and still doesn’t sometimes!) - moreover she started to go down to sleep like a dream - that, to me, is enough said.
Unfortunately, as I returned to work full time and my oldest couldn’t stay with Elettra - I had to find a different arrangement to keep both children together, otherwise I would have happily left both in her care ... until uni! She is a gem and I will truly go back to her in a heartbeat would I need it.

We know Elettra and her family for 4 years. She was recommended to us by our friends who have been delighted with her services.
Elettra provided occasional after school care for my eldest son few years back and for the last year she has been a full time carer to my 2 year old daughter.
I only wish that I was introduced to Elettra when my son was little as the nursery experience was a frustrating one for our family mostly due to the lack of communication. Although we have researched nurseries for months, visited about 8 and selected a lovely Montessori one with only responsibly sourced wooden toys in sight we constantly felt in the dark, missing out on an intelligent information about our child's development, his milestones, his feelings. Elettra provides excellent care not only for our daughter's needs but she offers a piece of mind for us parents. She briefs us confidently on what's relevant at the time when it matters. We trust her judgement and feel reassured by her insightful observations. For busy, working parents, it is pure gold! And there is a cherry on the cake, Elettra writes the most interesting and delightful blogs for every child she cares for, daily! Here's a extract to give you an idea;

Dear Mummy and Daddy,
Happy Chinese New Year to you!! It is the year of the dog, I wanted it to be the year of the Cat (Alfie of course) but apparently it is not Alfie's turn yet!!
The weather was gorgeous today so we went out to go to St Peters Playgroup which was of course closed due to Half Term. It was not too bad news though because we went to the park instead. Still a bit on the chilly side but such a lovely and crisp day we loved being outside.
We met Marnie on the way there who had her hair cut today so she joined in with us and we had a wonderful morning........

Elettra is just great. She is extremely passionate about her job and you can really tell that she is happy among her children. The little ones have no chance but to feel comfortable in her care with so much love and dedication. My daughter has enjoyed her care from the beginning and I'm so glad I have chosen Elettra as her childminder. She is very well organised and at the same time very flexible. She provides breakfast and cooks two warm meals a day for the children and tries her best to feed the kids even when they are giving her a hard time. Even in challenging situations she keeps calm and carries on. I can not recommend Elettra highly enough!

Elettra is one of the kindest, most organised and child focused people I have ever met. My daughter has spent 3 wonderful years with her and she is amazing. My biggest regret is that I did not know about her earlier, if I had my son would have benefited from her to. I cannot recommend this person enough. Her care is structured and focussed and her cooking skills are outstanding! She puts me to shame!!!

Elettra has provided a first-rate home away from home for my two children with wonderful homemade meals, a range of stimulating activities each day and individualised attention and intimacy for each child. My son and daughter have been happy in her care and I have felt relaxed and confident leaving them with her. She is caring, nurturing, intelligent, incredibly organised and passionate about everything she does. I can't say enough good things about her. She has been one of the best things that happened to me and my family since moving here from America!

Elettra is the best childminder ever! Both my children have been with her since babies and been extremely happy. Her setting is comforting and like a home to home. The children are out in the mornings doing all sorts of activities from parks to zoos to playgroups, both my kids have developed enormously with Elettra. She is kind but firm and works to each child's individual needs and interests. Meals are fantastic - homemade, nutritious and delicious! I am sure that this is why neither of my kids are fussy eaters. Elettra's setting is the perfect pre nursery setting and I couldn't recommend her more highly!
