We are a Reggio Emilia inspired, play based, educational approach to childcare.
We work from a log cabin at the back of our garden which is just for our childminding. Not only does it have two decking areas and a small barked area, but it backs a woodlands where we will be doing forest school activities.
We work with companies world wide reviewing their products, so have a wide variety of resources for our children to explore with!
We care for children from 3montths to 3 years and also accept the goverment funding.
We know that our partnership with parents is essential to create the best learning opportunities for children.
Our children are at the forefront of absolutely everything we do and we believe all children deserve the most amazing childhood experiences.
We strive to create a fun, enticing, educational and inspiring learning environment that facilitates our unique curriculum whilst the children are engaged in PLAY.
We strongly believe that children learn best and thrive when when they are happy, relaxed and taking part in what they enjoy; we feel this fosters a genuine curiosity and love of learning that can last a lifetime.
To achieve this, we provide an environment packed full of open-ended resources and balance of inspiring experiences that are responsive to the needs and abilities of every child, and that is based on both the choices of the children, their individual learning needs along with our aspirations of what they can achieve and what they may enjoy.
Our knowledge and experience focuses us on encouraging your children to have a possitive attitude to challenge, learning and respect.
We are constantly looking for improvement.
Me and Amy are increasingly aware of our belief in putting the child first.
I have an assistant I employ 5 days a week who is my sister. My sister has all relevant checks, NVQ level 2 and 3 years experience in a previous nursery, the kids love her!
A lot of our parents like that childrens naps do not get disturbed to do the school run as Amy is here. She has now been with me for 14 years!
Our outdoor play is where the children are encouraged to take risks, develop confidence and self esteem and explore their natural surroundings.
We plan our holidays a year in advance so it makes parents childcare a lot more easier to arrange.
Children adjust to our routine very quickly and it shows when we are in public too.
Holding hands and good listening is important when we are out and about and we are very proud with all the children in our care.
Child led play and learning through play is most important in our setting.

At the beginning our son was a little unsure about going, but Kerri was so patient and really helped him settle in. Now he runs to her every morning and hardly even says goodbye!
Kerri and Amy do lots of outdoor activities, which is perfect for more active children who enjoy being outside and exploring. It’s clear they put a lot of care and effort into making the days fun and engaging.
We’re so happy we found Kerri & Amy and would highly recommend to anyone!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When My daughter started with Amy and Kerri I was a nervous wreck she had never been left with anyone who wasn't family before.
so I was very anxious but Kerri updated me on how her first day was going and she loved it. she settled in so quickly she now loves going
She has come on so much since going to Kerri and Amy’s she is so much more confident I’m so grateful for eveything they have done for my little girl and me

My daughter has been going to Kerry and Amy since she was 8 months old, and she has settled in perfectly. Kerri and Amy take such good care of her, and the setting is perfect with so much for the children to do. So useful having an app to see what they have eaten, slept, nappy changes etc. My daughter has the best time and I highly recommend this setting to anyone.

I don’t even know where to begin with telling you how amazing Kerri and Amy have been with my son. He has been going to them for 8 months now. Since he was 19 months old. To be honest I wish I had started him sooner had I known how good it was going to be for him. He started off with a bit of separation anxiety but Kerri was amazing with him, I love the way he goes to her, and feels comfortable and safe with both of them. He comes home absolutely full of beans talking about his day, and his friends, and all the fun things he has done that day. It’s the most lovely lovely setting, and I wish he could stay with them forever. Thank you girls so much xx

My daughter started with Kerri & Amy just before she turned 1. She's been in their care for just over 6 months and she absolutely loves her time with them! She's with Kerri and Amy full time and looks forward to seeing them every day. The setting is amazing (we particularly loved the outdoor area). I could not be happier leaving her in Kerri and Amy's care. My daughters development has excelled since joining and I am over joyed with her progress.
I would highly recommend Kerri and Amy to any parent looking into childcare options.

Our son has been going to Kerri and Amy since he was around 11 month old. Obviously it’s a bit daunting leaving your child with someone, but I couldn’t trust Kerri and Amy anymore than I do. They’re brilliant. Otis is so excited to go and see them everytime and basically runs through the gate! The setting - indoor and outdoor that they have is stunning. You can clearly see the kids love being there which is all you can ask for as a parent. Would highly recommend!

We couldn’t feel more at ease leaving our 18 month old daughter with Kerri and Amy! They provide such a wonderful, interactive setting and really take the time to nurture our little ones development. I love the fact that they spend as much time outdoors as possible getting mucky as children should do!
Our daughters development has come on leaps and bounds since joining Kerri and Amy.
The cabin is beautiful and is such a lovely place for our little girl to spend time playing and learning!
We honestly couldn’t recommend or speak more highly of Kerri and Amy, they are such genuine people who clearly love what they do.
Our daughter really enjoys her time with them and is quite happy to wave me off when dropping her in the mornings!
We feel so lucky to have found such amazing people to look after our world!

Our daughter has been with Kerri and Amy since January this year and she has loved it. They have created a lovely environment for the children to learn in. Our daughter always has fun here and it’s the perfect place for her to interact with other children as well.
