Hi, I'm Tor, I am 32 and live in Shrivenham with my husband and 3 children, aged 7, 4 & 7 weeks (born 3rd sept). I'm a level 3 nursery nurse and have been nannying for 12 years. I am a fun, sporty, outdoorsy person who just LOVES the company of children. I love to help them learn through free play, baking, arts and crafts and of course being outside. I have 2 black Labradors and love dogs.
I am looking for a local part time nanny role to start after Christmas 2022. I have worked for 4 lovely and special families over the last 12yrs and count myself very lucky for the amazing opportunities I’ve had. My last role I took my son along with me from the age of 4months old, he’s now 4 and incredibly close with the child I cared for. For my next role I would need a family that wouldn’t mind my 3rd (& final) baby coming along with me. I’m hoping for school hours so I can collect my other two from school however i would also consider doing 2/3long days instead. I love meeting new children and taking them to fun toddler groups/farms/the library/parks or soft play. I have excellent references and would care for your child like they were my own.
I am also free for evening/ weekend babysitting and also sleepovers if required. I am a driver with first aid training, DBS checked and have done my safe guarding children certificate.
My Experience
I have 12 years experience, 2 years in a pre school as room leader and 10 years nannying. My first nanny job i had 4 children who were all under the age of 4 at the time! I love my job very much and enjoy being around children. I have newborn/twin/sibling experience also. After I left my first family in October 2013 I went on to nanny twins until I left them in July 2015 to have my own baby. I went back to work part time in April 2016 to work for a friend in Aldbourne. I then found a fabulous local job with one now 11yr old, who I left in august 2021 when I then went to a school to be a TA for a year. I'm still very close to my old families and see them regularly. I also do a lot of evening babysitting and overnights whilst parents go away for some me time.
I have always been in sole charge of the children and the running of the household. I take care of the cooking, dog walking and any errands you may need running.
My Qualifications
I have my diploma level 3 in childcare as well as my first aid, crb check and safeguarding children.
My Availability
I am available from January for the right family.
