About Me

I am a Teacher of English (Univeristy of English Language and Literature), Latin and Classics (Ancient Greek) with 14 years of experience.

As a 2005 graduate from the University of Thessaloniki, School of English Language and Literature, I have student teaching experience on all school levels. Being a versatile educator, I have taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students In the UK.

As a result, I am a compassionate tutor who remains sensitive to children's unique needs, employs effective teaching methods, provides individual and whole group support and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated. One of the most effective ways that I assist students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles.

My goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, communicative and supportive tuition, in which each student feels safe, secure, special and appropriately challenged. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic tutor.

I have been a private tutor in Greece (2001-2011) and in the UK for 3 years and also worked as a supply teacher in various schools around London. My tutoring includes teaching English for all levels and preparation of students for Westminster and Eton college together with Latin and Classics. (Ancient Greek/ Homer, Sophocles).
