My name is Rachel; I have been a live out nanny for 10 years in London. I have looked after children ranging from new born to 12years. My fiancé and I are moving to Derbyshire in April 2020 and I am looking for full time position. (Monday to Thursday) I am open to negotiation.
Here is a little about my professional personal profile
I have many years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborn to preteens. I also have knowledge and experience of babies and children with reflux, colic, developmental delay, dietary requirements and allergies.
In my last role as daytime full time nanny I had sole charge of 3 wonderful children. G10 B8, and G6. This family was a busy high net worth family who I cared for just over 7.5 happy years. They were 2.5 and 14 months when I stared.
During this time I used essential skills in managing the varying needs of the children and honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the family of 5 as individuals. Being a high profile family, I used my skills to manage multiple aspects of the day to day life but also the personal requirements of the parents.
As a person I am honest, reliable and patient. I have a number of key skills, which include a great ability to multitask and a great ability to communicate effectively with each child. Additionally, when I am with the children I like to plan ahead to create new and exciting games, activities and days out. I am a creative person and I like to share this with the children I am with. I believe that fun and laughter is essential to a child's happiness so I am always looking for activities to do which will bring these joys into their lives. I believe that I am a positive role model for a child and I can help to nurture their development.
I am very mindful of the needs and requests from parents and I strongly adhere to any wishes from parents in how to raise their children. I believe communication is a necessity and therefore I discuss anything with parents that need their input and advice.
Boundaries are so important to children. I prefer to acknowledge to good and discourage the not so good. I follow the discipline philosophy of the family. I have enough experience to gently offer alternative effective methods if needs be. I am very fair but firm if and when needed.
Child safety is a number one priority with me and as such I am first aid qualified. In my care your child will be safe, cared for, guided, stimulated, entertained and loved! ?
