About Me

I currently have no vacancies. FROM SEPTEMBER 2026 AND SEPTEMBER 2027, I WILL HAVE ONE SPACE FOR AN UNDER 2, MONDAY TO THURSDAY.

I do not provide school drop off/pick-ups or wrap around care.

I work on a very professional level and am very experienced and qualified. The children in my care are my priority and I do offer a family friendly environment and welcome the children and their families into my home and treat the children as I would treat my own. My aim is to guide and help the little ones to grow up to be sociable, well-mannered, polite and well-rounded young people. I promote reliability and safety as well as having lots and lots of fun and being happy.

At my last Ofsted inspection I was awarded with a Good. My full report can be viewed when visiting,or sent prior to a visit in my professional parent pack. I have attended childminding conferences, workshops and training courses including safeguarding children, paediatric first aid, food safety in catering and hold up to date certificates for these as well as up to date insurance certificates. I continue to attend training courses for my continuing professional development and I am qualified to level 3 at NVQ Childcare, Learning and Development. I have over 40 years experience working with children, spending the last 19 years as a registered childminder.

I am an early years educator working under the Early Years Framework Stage, the same as school and nurseries, teaching your little ones in all 7 areas of their development. I provide EYFS Tracker Diaries and the Department for Education requires me to provide you with a written EYFS Assessment Report when your child is between 2 and 3 years of age. My observations, EYFS tracker diaries and reports will enable me to see that your little ones are meeting all areas of their development and to ensure you are fully aware of your child's progress throughout their time with me.

I am registered to provide the 30 hours early years free entitlement for all children aged from 9 months, if eligible.

We are very active and have fun packed days including a variety of interesting activities to suit all ages. I have a vast collection of outdoor and indoor toys, including puzzles, educational and early learning toys, books and musical instruments. We also love and enjoy the great outdoors and some of the children's favourites are puddle jumping, leaf, cone and chestnut collecting which we then use for our indoor crafts. We also have days out and picnic days to the many local parks. We attend Lockey Farm to say hello to the donkeys and goats and to Henry street garden centre to say hello to the fish and feed them. We also have playdates with other childminders here at the setting.
I promote healthy living and eating, using fresh ingredients and vegetables minimising additives and preservatives.
