My Summary
Professional Care With A Gentle Touch
About Me
Hi, I’m Julie
I’m an experienced and caring childcarer with over 30 years of hands-on experience with babies and children of all ages. I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, a Level 3 Postnatal Maternity Nurse Care Certificate, and I’m a qualified Infant Massage Instructor.
I provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and valued. My approach follows the EYFS curriculum, focusing on learning through play and supporting each child’s individual interests.
We share our home with our gentle 8-year-old French Bulldog, Dolly, who has grown up around children. All interactions are supervised, giving little ones the opportunity to learn empathy, confidence, and how to care for others.
Conveniently located between Bristol and Bath (BS30), I offer parents peace of mind knowing their children are cared for by a trained professional with years of practical experience.
I’d love to meet you and your family! Please feel free to get in touch to chat or register your interest.

Julie reached out to me when I was looking for someone to take care of our toddler whilst we attended a wedding. She met Niyah beforehand and there was an instant bond. Julie was a lovely babysitter. Kind and friendly and she sent us updates with pictures a couple of times to reassure us everything was going well. Couldn't have asked for a better person to look after our baby. Highly recommend. Thank you Julie!!

Julie came to babysit for us for an evening. She turned up on time, had an instant rapport with our children, immediately put us at ease and was extremely professional. She even tidied up the kids toys while we were out.
Thank you!

Julie is currently looking after our 4 year-old and 2 year-old and from day one, she has been amazing. The children love her, she always thinks of fun activities for them and takes them on lots of lovely days out. Julie also ensures the children eat healthily every day. With Julie, the children, who were used to having their mum around all the time, have made tremendous progress. They always miss Julie in the holidays and our daughter often asks "when is the next Julie day?". She is very much part of the family.
Sadly, our eldest is going to school this September so our childcare needs are such that we will have to say goodbye to Julie soon. We made our decision with heavy hearts and will miss Julie a lot.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Julie, she is kind, caring, fun and totally trustworthy. She has a lot of experience and is always happy to work with parents and children to make sure everyone is happy.
