With Over 30yrs childcare experience.
Hello & welcome to my page. A little about me & my family. I’ve lived in my present house for 30yrs now, with my husband Sean and my two grown up children Mackenzie aged 23 & Shea 20. They help whenever needed and all registered as my assistance.
I have built unique setting, a Fully functioning nursery in my garden. Where I care for the children. Having full access to an astroturf garden. For your child to enjoy all year round.
I am based in Mill Hill (North west London).
I pride myself in Offering a loving, fun, safe, educational, reliable, flexible and provide good value childcare, for families in my care.
With over 35 years experience working with children both in home & nursery settings. I’ve combined. All my different experiences. to help children thrive in my care.
My Experience
>18yrs experience as a Childminder working from home .
>16 yrs @ the BBC work place nursery in White City as part of the
management team
>5 yrs at the BBC in Elstree’s work place nursery.
> 2yrs as a nanny in the Uk London
>2yrs in school nursery
> 1yr as a nanny in America
> 1yr work with children with a hearing impairment
> also when at college completing my NNEB(Nursery nursing educational board qualification) which was a two-year course in childcare I worked in schools Home settings nurseries, hospital workplace nurseries to gain experience

My Availability
>Presently I am open from 7.30 till 6 -Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
>funded children welcome
>I only care for early years children 0-3yrs
>I do not look after school aged children. Unless past childminded children come for school holidays or play date..
>I do not do school runs.
My decision not to care for school age children helps the little ones in a small setting without being trampled on or pushed over by bigger children
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My fees are very competitive
I’m offering You 2 choices
Either
- £8ph with parents providing their own child’s food, or
- £8.50ph with me providing food.
All funding welcome.

I have found Maria to be an excellent childminder when caring for my little one who absolutely adored his time spent at her setting. He would always come home with tales of amazing trips or activities that he had done, and many days didnt want to leave, at pick up time which was reassuring to me that he was being well looked after. .My lilltle one also enjoyed seeing her pugs everyday who are ever so sweet and are part of the family.
Maria is a wonderful person and I would highly recommend her childminding skills to others.. My little one is at school now but we have remained friends which is great and are still in touch.

Maria looked after my daughter for 2 years. She was very happy there and had lots of fun. Maria takes the children on regular outings and they also play in the conservatory and garden. I have always found Maria to be a friendly, reliable and confident childminder.

Maria Kelly, of Mill Hill, NW7 is a wonderful childminder, she has looked after my son and we feel she is part of the family. you would be very lucky to have her as your childminder if you give her a call.
