About Me
I am a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who uses patience, shrewd judgment and good humour to bring out the best in pupils. I pride myself in setting high yet attainable standards for my pupils. I have been rated ‘Excellent’ Examiner by AQA.
My Experience
I have taught in Secondary and Primary schools and formerly lead a Local Authority maintained education centre for children who needed help with engagement and building confidence in their own ability. Between 2012 and 2017 I developed STEM activities for the World Land Speed Record project ; Bloodhound SSC as well as teaching in a local primary school. For the past few years I have been tutoring pupils who have low self esteem, learning challenges and engagement difficulties. I am available to tutor pupils sitting Common Entrance, 11+ and 13+ also general support for those needing help to meet their potential.
